Amelie is all we hoped for from this breeding ……………and more.  We are sure you will agree she is maturing very nicely and shows much promise for the future.  Her pedigree is replete with quality dogs and she will no doubt add to the list!  She is a beautifully constructed girl and, like her mother, moves like a dream!  She is from a long line of equally impressive stock – her grandfather was recently hip scored at 6 years old and came back an 11 – if only the human hip could withstand such wear and tear to similar effect!!

Amelie has been lightly shown and is always in the line up with some impressive wins to her name thus far.  She was withdrawn from her show career last year to focus her attentions on mothering duties which, as with everything else she does, produced stunning results!!

Amelie has had “dry” seasons and it is therefore very difficult to determine ovulation.  Mandy and Alan Davies knew how much we wanted a litter by their boy Henry and offered to keep Amelie at their house in order to ensure we caught her at just the right time.  Actually Amelie and Henry determined that for themselves – Alan was in the yard with them at the time but hadn’t quite expected such a passionate liaison quite at that moment!  Further controlled matings followed and Amelie gave birth to 13 fabulous pups in September of last year.  We have kept a boy, Cooper who can be seen on his own page – we think he is the perfect combination of two stunning dogues!!

We would like to take this opportunity to formally thank Alan and Mandy for helping us with this mating which we plan to repeat later this year – we know that without their kindness and determination it would not have happened – we are forever appreciative!
