Flo is a long-awaited addition to our dog family and has so captivated our hearts and, believe it or not, endeared herself to all the other dogs in the kennel.  She took just 2 days to make her way from the house to the kennels and, unlike our other bullmastiff and dogue pups, did not take to her heels at the sight of so many bigger dogs.  Instead she made a point of inspecting them all individually and selecting who were the easy wins and those she may have to do some work on!!

It feels as if Flo has always been with us and we have been totally wooed by her stubbornness, defiance, passion for food and sheer doggedness.  She was bred by Lynn McGroarty who got her mother from Dawnstar Kennels, a well established and respected kennel is the north of England.  Lynn was impressed by the health and fitness of the stock bred by Dawnstar and given the heath problems in the breed we were happy to accept her commendation.

Flo has captured the heart of all our friends and family and what strikes us most is the smile that comes to their face when they see her or ask after her!  She is so loved by everyone.  Folks keep asking when we are going to show her.  Well, we did once and she came second in a fairly strong class which was great.  But, the bottom line is she is always a winner at home and we enjoy having no hopes or aspirations – despite her name!!! :-)
