We are very pleased with the offspring from this mating and delighted to have introduced such an impressive sire into our lines. We have always liked Hudson, especially since we know the Tartuffe dogs in his background! But all credit to his breeders, Lynne and Duncan for producing such a fine specimen.
It’s always interesting raising pups from an out-cross mating as there are characteristics which are familiar and others which are unrecognisable and interesting to observe.
Gianni is a striking young man who has beautiful structure, great bone, wonderful temperament and movement to die for! He has done very well this year in the show circuit testified by his results page.
He has been slow to mature and although there has been a marked development in the past 6 months – we feel there is still more to come. Gianni became a dad again this year following a mating to a classy girl from the Anneddwen Kennel. Brie and her offspring can be visited at www.anneddwen.com. We are very pleased with what he has contributed to this beautiful litter.
We are truly delighted to have Gianni in our family. He is an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to be around. Many distinguished judges have had much to say about him this year. Here is a critique for Linda Wade, Breed Specialist who judges him at East of England Ch. Show this year:-
This up-to-size fawn caught my eye and did not disappoint in going over. He is all of a piece with square head, good pigmentation, broad muzzle, good mouth. Not overdone in any way, nice width to front.
His shoulders blend into very good body. Good thighs and hocks. More to come from
this boy. Best mover in class!!!
Not a bad critique by anybody’s standards!!
