Marta is a lovely girl who brings a smile to your face even in the midst of the most trying of days – she can be such a clown!  She has the most beautiful head, lovely construction and movement but what a trial for Janice to show!!  She just gets her stacked and something attracts Marta’s attention and she just has to make a move towards it.  Then Jan settles her to move her out and lo and behold half way though her run out she catches scent of something she just has to stop and investigate.  Jan has often left the ring with a rosette, sweat running off her brow and a real sense of frustration!!   But you can’t stay mad with Marta for long – she smiles up at you and your heart melts…yet again!!

Marta has had  a very successful  debut into the show world. She has won most of the puppy classes entered at both Open and Championship shows and has also been placed in Group. The competition in Puppy Classes was fierce in 2009 with most of the entries in double figures. It is always more satisfying to win in the face of such strong competition.

One such show was Blackpool, judged by Liz Carteledge who had this to say about our girl:....

“QUITE A CLASS WITH 11 YOUNG MAIDENS.  TARTUFFE MARTE – 11 MONTHS OLD WELL GROWN AND PROPORTIONED, PLEASING HEAD, GOOD BONE, WENT WELL ON THE GO-ROUND, STEADY SHOWGIRL, EXPERTLY HANDLED. BPB”
