Soul is with us through the most tragic of circumstances we have ever experienced at Tartuffe. She is the “soul” survivor of a litter born to our girl Chiara. Sadly we lost Chiara soon after the birth of four puppies, three of which later joined Chiara across the bridge.
We will never forget our girl and still feel a twinge of guilt for choosing to put her in pup. But, these are the realities of breeding – Mother Nature makes decisions we struggle to accept and survive.
Soul has been such a joy and solace to us. She is the most beautiful girl in heart, soul and spirit – just like her mum was really. We treasure her presence herE with us and she will always have a special place in our hearts as a result of “her story”.
Neither will we forget the strength and determination of the support we received from “dog community” during and since Soul’s birth and Chiara’s death. It is at these times we realise what a force for good we can be as a community. We thank you all for your kindness and strength.
Soul would also want us to thank our dear Sorcha who took over as “mother” and even produced milk to feed her – what a total star she is!
